Something Blue Colorado

Something Blue was a god-send. We live in Texas but got married in Colorado. If it weren't for her, I don't think everything would have gone as smoothly and perfect as they did. She is professional and fun. If you're looking for a planner, I definitely reccommend Something Blue!

I've seen a lot of friends get married this year, and like me, most of them hired a day-of coordinator. Let me tell you, I scored with Marcea. She was the most valuable part of our wedding--- she totally helped me leading up to the wedding and the day of, I felt totally relaxed and confident that she had everything under control and I had nothing to worry about. She handled little hiccups without worrying me or my wedding party, and everything turned out wonderfully. I would highly recommend Marcea to anyone, whether you're planning a wedding yourself, or need her creative ideas. Great person, great value, very professional and high quality.!

Marcea was so wonderful as our day-off coordinator, I couldn't be happier about our decision to hire her. She was able to answer all of our questions in a very timely manner throughout the planning process, was VERY detailed in taking notes and pictures with how I wanted the details to look, and everything turned out perfectly! She took the time to meet with us on several occasions to make sure that we were getting everything done that we needed to, and offered some really great suggestions that we incorporated into our wedding. On our last meeting, I felt so confident that Marcea had everything under control down to the very last detail that all of my stress and concern disappeared. I highly recommend Marcea's services to anyone looking for a full service wedding coordinator to a day-off coordinator. It was one of the best decisions that we made in the wedding planning process.

Marcea Copeland-Rodden is a fabulous wedding planner! I hired her for the weekend-of-the-wedding package, and couldn't be more pleased with her work. My wedding was entirely DIY, and I took care of all contracting, crafting, and coordinating before the event. However, Marcea was on top if it all, and was seamlessly able to take over for me the weekend of the wedding so that I could enjoy it, rather than me needing running around placing centerpieces or calling the bakery to see where the cake was. I was able to just focus on the day, my friends, and my husband. She helped decorate the venue to my specifications, ran the ceremony and reception, took care of final payments, and I'm sure did a million other things that I (thankfully) am not aware of because I was enjoying my day! If you are a DIY bride, Marcea is the perfect complement to your wedding - you take care of all the details, and let her make sure they're all put together so you can enjoy all the work you've put into it. Marcea coordinated my daughter’s wedding and did a truly excellent job; the wedding and reception were executed flawlessly. We were terribly stressed trying to do everything before the wedding, but as soon as Marcea took over, everything flowed beautifully and we were able to relax and enjoy without having to worry or do anything more ourselves. There were a few little problems (in our planning, not Marcea’s), but Marcea handled those problems so that everything was impeccable. She remembered a lot of things that we didn’t! My daughter had chosen an outdoor wedding with a rustic theme and Marcea had wonderful ideas to add that helped to keep everything elegant within that theme. She helped to pull together the bride’s ideas to create exactly what the bride was picturing. And her idea for the bride’s entrance to the outdoor chapel was brilliant. The bride’s entrance was stunning, dramatic and exquisitely beautiful. Marcea was also able to handle all the members of the wedding party at rehearsal and the wedding and keep us all in the right place at the right time. She was able to gracefully move all the guests to where the bride wanted them for the rehearsal, cocktails after the ceremony and later for a group photo. We absolutely could not have planned and executed a wedding this beautiful without Marcea. Her insightful ideas for the little extra touches and calm and professional manner really made the wedding perfect !

I was living in India when Marcea was helping me plan my wedding. She made a lot of 'Executive Decisions' for us as we were not physically there to do much of the planning. She took away my fears and stress. She was available for every email and Skype session. She is very resourceful and kept me on time for monthly deadlines. On the wedding day she really took on a load of responsibility and everything went smoothly. She was worth every penny we spent!

I enlisted Marcea's help only for day of, but it was much more than that. We had a couple of meetings face to face ahead of time, and I could email her whenever I needed. Marcea was great to have for the day of my wedding, she thought of many things I never would have thought of, she made sure I had all of the pieces and vendors I would need in order for my day to be a success. She made it possible for me and my guests to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about the small details, like making sure everything went off according to plan. Best decision I made for my wedding.
