We LOVED working with Marjorie! She is very professional and friendly, and her cakes are amazing! We sampled a lot of the cakes as we didn't have anything particular in mind for the flavor...they were all moist, and her Dulce de Leche filling is fabulous! Azucar was by far our favorite from the places we did tastings at. We were on a tight budget, and Marjorie worked with use to make sure we could have a beautiful, delicious cake in our price range. She also let us use her cake stand/decorations and set up our cake table, which was beautiful. I'd never purchased a cake before our wedding (our family always makes our cakes), but will definitely purchase from Azucar again!

Cake was so yummy and decorated exactly how I wanted! They also made a really cool duck hunting grooms cake for us! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I got my wedding cake here and I'm already dreaming of my first anniversary cake (that we will get for free!)!! If we lived nearby (i.e. in the same state), I would likely get very fat from going here way to often. Marjorie was wonderful, very nice and helpful, and tolerant of my crazy bride tendencies (changing the design, changing it back, etc.). The pricing seemed very reasonable. Their designs were more updated and cakes better than another bakery we tried. We ended up going simple on the design (and complementing it with flowers) and it turned out beautifully. We chose chocolate/nutella filling, Peruvian yellow/dolce de leche filling, and red velvet/cream cheese filling as our three layers and I ate an insane amount of all 3 flavors. I'm a chocolate girl all the way so I expected to go for the chocolate as my favorite but I think the Peruvian cake layer may have been the best (I'm shocked, seriously what could be better than chocolate?).

We loved our cake! I have a gluten allergy - the cake was amazing, including my gluten free tier!

Marjorie was very easy to work with and delivered exactly what I wanted. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and looked just like I had envisioned. It also tasted AMAZING. Our cake tasting session was incredible as we got large pieces of cake to take home, and all of them were delicious. And, the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Azucar Bakery.

My husband, Joe, and myself absolutely LOVED our wedding cake. We tried every layer and enjoyed each and every bite. The cake was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing! We got so many compliments on a delicious cake. We plan to order my mom's birthday cake from the same bakery because it was so good. The people were very helpful when choosing our cake design and layout as well as picking the flavors. We tried nearly 8 different pieces of cake before choosing which 3 would go in ours. I could not have been happier with our cake and will recommend to all my friends so I can eat more of the delicious cake!

I simply cannot say enough good things about Marjorie. She went above and beyond for us! We were having our wedding at the USAF Academy, and we live on the other side of the country, making it very difficult to find vendors we felt we could rely on to provide just what we wanted for our wedding day, without actually meeting in person. We had a very undexpected to trip to Colorado 2 weeks prior to the wedding, and Marjorie went out of her way to get cake samples to us so we could do our own cake taste testing! The most difficult aspect in regard to our cake was chossing the flavors, they were all simply amazing! Had we not tasted them ourselves, we would have most likely chosen something other than we did, do NOT rule out her red velvet, you MUST try it! Most people do not associate red velvet with weddings, but WOW, it was a hit! The other flavors were also, but people were hesitant with the red velvet, until they took a bite! As far as the design, again, WOW! We showed her a picture of our topper and a cake we liked, and I'll be honest, I loved her version of the cake more than the picture we sent her! The detail was amazing! Marjorie is so pleasant to work with, her cakes are delicious and her attention to detail is superb! I cannot give her enough praise!

What a great find! Azucar is a great little bakery with great food. Our wedding cake tasted great and looked beautiful. The price was great and I even got a certificate for a one year anniversary cake.

Marjorie's cakes are delicious!!!!! I don't know how she does it, but our wedding cake was so moist and tasty, it wasn't dry at all. When figuring out what kind of cake design we wanted, Marjorie brought us in and presented us with at least three books full of pictures of different wedding cake designs. She really took time out to show us different designs and to find out what we liked and what we didn't like. The cake was delivered on time as promised and was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful! Marjorie makes it possible for anyone with dietary restrictions to have a truly fantastic cake. There are only two bakeries in the area (that we were able to find) that make sugar-free cakes. Azucar is by far the best! Not only did it taste amazing, she also put it together beautifully - just like the design we had given her. After we had our first piece at the wedding, we went back for seconds and it was completely gone. Apparently a lot of people went back for seconds! Hands down, Azucar Bakery is the best bakery in the Denver area!

Azucar has amazing cakes that not only look beautiful, but also taste wonderful! The dulce de leche was superb and everyone loved it! It was delicious and unique. Marjorie was easy to work with and accommodated changes easily. She came to the venue to decorate the cake with lots of fresh flowers and set everything up for us without a hitch.

Azucar cakes are the best wedding cakes in the entire Denver area (and probably in all of Colorado) - handmade from scratch, supermoist, and NOT too sweet!!! Marjorie is a wonderful person and very easy to work with.

Azucar bakery provided us the yummiest wedding cake ever! The cake tasting was super fun and relaxing and all of their flavors are delicious. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and they even decorated it with fresh flowers on site. Everyone loved it!

Although the initial ordering process went very well, the wedding cake arrived only 30 minutes prior to reception and was a complete mess. No one from the bakery asked for a delivery signature from anyone in the family. The cake was lopsided, the ribbon around the bottom of each layer was greased soaked from frosting and the entire cake was painted gold which was supposed to be white. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this bakery to anyone.
